Today I walked in Geneva.
I saw offices and stores from some old brands. Eg Patek Philippe, which was founded in Geneva in 1839.
Immediately I thought about Ukraine. How we don't have brands from even 100 years ago. Being close to russia doesn't allow one to build multigenerational companies.
I thought how many posts I saw in the past 2.5 years about killed Ukrainian artists, writers, activists, singers, athletes or business owners.
And that is only last 2.5 years. What about previous 10 years? Or 100? So many human lives are gone, so much human potential.
