For years I've been saying that my two favorite fruits are Mulberry and Jackfruit.
Mulberry I had in Ukraine growing up. I could only get it few weeks per year and only in some regions.
Jackfruit I discovered way later in my life in my travels to South America and Asia.
I love them both but it always felt that they are so different - they look very different, they exist in different climates, they taste different(Jackfruit tastes like an artificial bubble gum).
Yet, today I learned that they belong to the same family:
The jackfruit (Artocarpus heterophyllus) is a species of tree in the fig, mulberry, and breadfruit family (Moraceae).
